Personal Contribution

There are many ways you can serve this church and its people. You may help with sunday school classes, become an usher, become a fellowship host after church, sing or play a music piece at church, become a member of one of our church choirs, act as a lay reader or be active in one of our committees or teams, ... You might just create a new serving post yourself. And let's not forget the most important type of contribution - be present - come to the worship service and the many other events that take place during the year. We are looking forward to you and we will show our appreciation to any help and support you can provide.

Financial Contribution

The English-Speaking United Methodist Church of Vienna is supported entirely by contributions of members and friends. We welcome financial support of our work in Vienna and our mission projects elsewhere.

Financial Campaign for 2010
"Thanksgiving for ESUMC Small Group Ministries"

Families 2.0 - Families with older childrenSmall Group Ministries have been ESUMC's focus in 2009. The Young Adults group was formed, the Men's fellowship and the Families 2.0 strengthened in size and activities, and a small group platform was established. Our Financial Campaign for 2010 is an expression of our Thanksgiving for ESUMC's small groups (including our five choirs) and our promise to provide the small group leaders with the means for community-building (rooms & furniture, fellowship supplies, communication tools, pastoral materials, publicity, childcare, sound and lighting for events).

African Singers & DrummersOur small groups do not only serve church members, but also provide many people, who have struggled with matters of religion and church for many years, a new beginning where they experience God through our support, understanding, and friendship. The groups also run mission initiatives (Bake Sale, Christmas Dinner, Concerts) to help people in need in Vienna and beyond. AND these groups provide spiritual support for group members who individually support their family and friends in countries around the globe.

We invite you to consider prayerfully what you will give to God’s work at the ESUMC for next year, and to pledge that amount. It is not a contract; this estimate can be changed as your situation changes, for better or for worse. Our financial campaign goals are a 10% increase in the number of those who give and a 5% raise in average giving.

Men's Fellowship - Saturday BreakfastYou may mail your Estimate of Giving in an envelope to the church or bring it and place it in the offering basket or our "Financial Campaign Box". If you have any questions, please ask Christian Horvath (Finance Chair), Markus Beuchert (Financial Secretary) or Pastor Laura Trent.

Please read Laura's Financial Campaign Letter for 2010 and check out Christian's Small Group Ministries at ESUMC.
