On June 12, 1988, the Chancel Choir, under the leadership of Marilyn Brandl, sang its first anthem during the worship service. Since then, we have been singing regularly in our own worship services and at other special church events, including joint services with our sister congregation (Fünfhaus), and even joining together with their choir to make one big and joyful noise to the Lord! Because our congregation loves to sing, and because we have so many talented people in our church, we soon started a Children’s Choir and a Youth Choir, and both sing on special occasions. The Youth Choir also sings with the Chancel Choir, enhancing our sound with their beautiful young voices. The Chancel Choir practices each Sunday directly after the worship service for about 30 minutes. We sing all types of music and welcome the participation of anyone who can carry a tune and loves to sing!
