Dear ESUMC members and friends,
Blessings to you and your loved ones! I pray that you are well on this beautiful spring day here in Vienna.
It was a joy to welcome about 25 persons in worship this past Sunday, as we have resumed in-person worship in the sanctuary. Once again, this Sunday 14 March the doors of the sanctuary will be open for worship for up to 50 persons. The service shall begin at 11:15, and for in-person worshippers shall include the sacrament of Holy Communion. As usual, the service will also be streamed via Zoom.
For those who may join us in the sanctuary on Sunday, may I remind you of the current worship guidelines: contact details must be provided, FFP-2 masks must be worn at all times, social distance (two meters from non-household members) must be maintained, and there shall be no congregational singing.
And please let us take responsibility for one another’s health and well being. If you have a fever, feel sick, or show any symptoms of illness, please do not come to the sanctuary for worship.
Every Sunday, our Covid Prevention representatives will be on hand to assist the congregation to follow the requirements associated with in-person worship. If you have any questions or concerns, please be in touch with the Worship Committee or me.
May God bless you on Sunday, as you join us for worship either in the sanctuary or at home.
Yours in Christ,
The Rev. John Calhoun
