Weekly News, 30 April 2021

Dear ESUMC members and friends,

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ, our risen Lord and Savior!

Once again, we invite you to join us for worship this Sunday, as we witness the encounter between Philip the Evangelist and the Ethiopian eunuch. Philip’s faithfulness to the leading of God’s Spirit results not only in the baptism of one man, but eventually the new faith of a nation.

We shall also give thanks to God for the easing of the pandemic, which is leading to the gradual reopening of society here in Vienna. Once again, this Sunday 2 May the doors of the sanctuary will be open for worship for up to 50 persons. The service shall begin at 11:15, and as usual shall also be livestreamed and available via Zoom. The sacrament of Holy Communion will be offered to those worshipping in the sanctuary. Please see the notice regarding ongoing in-person worship restrictions at the end of this email.

I look forward to your presence in worship on Sunday, either in the sanctuary or from home.

Yours in Christ,
Pastor John
